BlockFi Login | Restructuring & Distribution Update (2026)
As of January 2026, BlockFi is no longer an operational investment exchange. Following its bankruptcy in late 2022, the company has emerged from Chapter 11 and is in the final stages of its wind-down process.
The original BlockFi web platform was officially shut down on May 31, 2024. You can no longer log in to the "BlockFi Investment Exchange" to trade or manage new investments.
1. How to Access Your Account & Funds
If you still have outstanding claims or are waiting for a distribution, the login process is now handled through third-party administrators:
- Crypto Distributions (Coinbase): Most in-kind cryptocurrency distributions were transitioned to Coinbase. If you were eligible, you should have received instructions to create or link a Coinbase account. You do not log in to BlockFi; instead, your funds are deposited directly into your verified Coinbase account.
- Cash Distributions (Kroll/Digital Disbursements): For users receiving cash (USD), distributions are managed by Kroll. You should have received an onboarding email with a unique link to select your payment method (Zelle, PayPal, ACH, etc.).
- Historical Data: Since the main dashboard is offline, you must contact the claims administrator to request historical transaction or tax records if you did not download them before May 2024.
2. Latest Status Update (January 2026)
Recent court filings indicate that the BlockFi bankruptcy estate has made significant progress:
- FTX Settlement Success: In late 2024 and 2025, BlockFi successfully sold its claims against the FTX estate at a substantial premium.
- 100% Recovery Potential: Because of these successful recoveries, the Plan Administrator announced that many eligible customer and general unsecured creditor claims would receive a final distribution of up to 100% of their claim value in fiat terms.
- Final Chapter: The estate is currently processing the final batches of these distributions as of January 2026.
